My area of practice is cross disciplinary and includes sculpture, installation and performance art. I often present my work under the name PK Fiskulturnik – a project I started in 2007 after graduating from UAL, with an MA in Fine Art. I have regularly showcased my work both in the UK & abroad, most recently at Tate Modern (2017) as well as at INK Pula, Croatia (2015), City of Women Festival, Ljubljana (2013), the National Theatre (2012), Whitstable Biennale (2012), Tate Britain (2010 & 2012) and more.
I’m also a visual arts lecturer and a freelance workshop leader with an extensive experience of teaching Sculpture, 3D Art & design and related subjects in FE sector.
By intertwining a personal narrative with the visual heritage of redundant communist monuments and culture I aim to question concepts of belonging and origin in a Europe that’s undergoing significant realignment.
